The PAMA 540LX Pilothouse has garnered rave reviews for quality, functional innovations, impressive standard outfit, and an incomparably elegant interior. The design has been carefully refined in order to gain the most possible from this pilothouse yacht.
Before boarding the Pama 540LX, one is compelled to walk around this awesome yacht and admire her carefully sculpted lines from all angles. She is as beautiful, yet masculine a pilothouse yacht can be. Pama's construction is of sturdy solid glass on the bottom with the first three layers being vinylester resin. Her stringer system is bordering on excessive. Everything above the waterline is cored with Nidacore honeycomb material, which is extremely strong and lightweight. This coring is "vacuum bagged" to the hull laminate for increased strength.
The Pama 540LX's salon floor has three layers of Nidacore and four layers of fiberglass. This reduces sound levels significantly in the salon while underway, at the same time giving a solid feel and a beautifully finished ceiling in the engineroom. The rest of the interior decks are made up of a Nidacore honeycomb/FRP sandwich. Most builders apply plywood for interior decks.
Extreme care is taken with every Pama Yacht to ensure that the owners will enjoy many years of exceptional cruising surrounded by the best quality construction, furnishings and hardware available. Accommodations include 3 luxurious staterooms all appointed with high-end finishes and 2 large heads with stall showers and granite countertops. A pilothouse with a center pilot station, helm chair, a side facing settee, L-shaped open galley, port & stbd side pilothouse doors and stairs leading to the bridge. The salon is open & spacious and offers a 37" flat screen TV with Satellite TV antenna system, large settee and two comfortable barrel chairs. The bridge offers 2 helm chairs and settee.
