48’ Ocean Alexander Havana
The vessel can be boarded from two different ways, one is from the custom built 6’ integrated fiberglass nonskided swim platform then up the transom mounted ladder into the aft deck thru a bull work and izenglass door. The other is from the removable boarding stair that can be easily deployed and mounted on the starboard side for easy access to the main deck and into the salon via a sliding pilot house door. There is also a stainless-steel folding swim ladder provides easy water access for swimming or in an emergancy.
The Foredeck has a molded fiberglass bow sprit that supports a stainless-steel anchor roller assembly. Ground tackle includes a 50 kg Bruce-style anchor with 325 feet of 3/8” chain and a secondary 20 kg Rocna anchor with chain and nylon rode. Access to the chain locker is forward of the v berth. The vessel is equipped with a recently re-built Maxwell 2200 windlass with foot controls.
The vessel has a 3/4 length keel that really improves the performance and handling capabilities.
The yacht is equipped with fully functional upper and lower helm stations, making operation comfortable in all weather conditions. The flybridge is also equipped with a hard glass centerline window with a wiper and a Very comfortable Stidd helm chair
